Integrate your sensor data diagram into your own website

With Sensate’s convenient sharing feature and public API, you can now quickly and easily integrate and display your sensor data on your own website, intranet, etc. Simply use the Sensate Monitor App, and generate a release code for the desired sensor(s) for this use case:

Simply generate an access code with the Sensate Monitor App

Afterwards you only have to insert the following source code into your website and insert your access code and key.

...
<script src="https://www.sensate.io/res/chart/1.0.0/sensatechart.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
  initChart('sensate_canvas', "**YOUR ACCESS CODE**", "**YOUR KEY**", true);
</script>
<canvas id="sensate_canvas"/>
...

Please note that this makes the shared data public. Should you have any doubts about your data later on, you can of course revoke the access code at any time.

When you have done this, you have successfully integrated your sensor data into your website. With the default settings, the chart will automatically scale the time and value axes and automatically update them when new data is available. Here is an example with our sensor data:

You can find the source code for the diagram, as well as other examples (such as how to set the axis scaling or disable the automatic update) on our GitHub page.
